Baku hosts international conference on protection of ancient human settlements

An international scientific-practical conference on the topic "Protection of Ancient Human Settlements: Threats and Modern Approaches" has started today at the Heydar Aliyev Center, organized by the Ministry of Culture, APA reports.

Scholars, researchers, experts from several countries, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations and the media, are participating in the event.

Note that the international scientific-practical conference, which will conclude on March 16, is being held with the partnership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the special representatives of the President in Shusha, Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). The conference aims to discuss new ideas and solutions for the preservation, promotion, research, and recognition of the oldest examples of cultural heritage. Additionally, the event aims to strengthen international and regional cooperation, develop new strategies for the protection of cultural heritage, and establish mechanisms for their implementation.
