Azerbaijan has a strong track record of shaping its future using its own resources, President Ilham Aliyev emphasized in an interview with Euronews.
Addressing the evolving global landscape, President Aliyev noted that the traditional world order is shifting, with no clear consensus on what comes next. "There are different opinions on the future structure of international relations, but one thing is certain—countries must focus on their own strengths rather than relying on external aid or even international law," he stated.
Reflecting on Azerbaijan’s experience, the president highlighted how the country has successfully navigated challenges by prioritizing self-sufficiency, particularly given its history of facing selective application of international law.
