ECO countries are our target tourism markets, Azerbaijani State Agency

“The member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) are considered target tourism markets of Azerbaijan,” Kanan Gasimov, the Head of Department of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan told journalists, APA reports.

"Increasing the number of tourists who come from those markets is one of our main objectives. In this regard, the participation of tourism companies in the processes is of additional importance. We are trying to achieve to establish such relations among the member countries.

Note that 1st ECO Tour Operators Forum is being held in Baku under the joint organization of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Economic Cooperation Organization.
