She underscored that Voluntary National Reviews that countries submit are the splendid opportunities to show both progress in individual areas and current challenges: “Azerbaijan is one of the few countries that submits its Voluntary National Reviews. The Azerbaijani government prepares to submit this review in June 14. An individual session to be held in connection with UN sustainable development goals. During this event, we will discuss the current challenged in this field. That document to be submit at today’s event by the Special Representative on UN sustainable development goals. Azerbaijan to host internationally significant event entitled COP29 in November. I consider that the event that we hold today is important from the standpoint of COP29 preparation.
