Azerbaijan may limit number of taxis

In accordance with the requirements of the legislature, the number of taxis in Azerbaijan may be limited after a certain count, Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport told APA-Economics.

"According to the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on road transport, in order to increase the efficiency and quality of road transport services, as well as to optimize the distribution of passenger flows by types of transport in public road transport in general use, limits may be implemented to the number of permits and their additions for passenger transport by taxi cars," the Agency noted.
