The UN General Assembly has declared May 25 World Football Day, APA reports.
According to the text of the resolution, such a decision was made "since 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of the first ever international football tournament with the participation of representatives of all regions within the framework of the 1924 Summer Olympics held in Paris."
