On May 9, 79 years have passed since the historic Victory over fascism, APA reports.
On this occasion, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the grave of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General Hazi Aslanov, laid flowers in front of the monument, and paid tribute to the memory of all Azerbaijani children who died in the war.
