“Anatolian Phoenix - 2024” International Search and Rescue Exercise held in Konya, Republic of Türkiye continues, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told APA.
On the next day of the exercise, the participants were presented with a briefing that included safety regulations, tasks to be carried out, and their execution sequence, essential information regarding the terrain's relief, structure, and climate where the search and rescue operation would take place.
According to the training plan, visual observation of the area was conducted to assess the simulated enemy object, followed by ambushing its motorcade and capturing the members of the terrorist group.
The main objective of the training, which is also attended by a group of military personnel of the Azerbaijan Army and aviation assets, is to enhance the skills and capabilities of military personnel, as well as to ensure mutual understanding and exchange of experiences among military personnel from participating countries.
