Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan described the relevant protocol signed the other on the delimitation of borders with Azerbaijan as a great success. Nikol Pashinyan, speaking at the government meeting, stated that the mentioned document constitutes the fundamental principle of strengthening the sovereignty and security of the country, APA reports.
'For the first time since independence, our republic has an officially delimited border, which will considerably increase the level of security and stability not only in the direction reflected in the protocol but also along the entire Armenia-Azerbaijan border," Pashinyan said.
The head of the Armenian government also highly appreciated the activities of the Joint Commission on the delimitation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
