In February of this year, Azerbaijan's daily oil production averaged 476,000 barrels, APA-Economics reports citing the monthly report of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
According to the report, in December of last year, the figure was 486,000 barrels, and in January of this year, it was 467,000 barrels.
The document states that last year, Azerbaijan's daily oil production averaged 482,000 barrels, which is 22,000 barrels less compared to 2023 (504,000 barrels).
Note that according to the agreement reached at the 38th meeting of the OPEC+ (OPEC and initiative to reduce oil production involving non-OPEC countries) ministers, Azerbaijan's production quota will make up 551,000 barrels per day until the end of 2026.
Thus, in February of this year, Azerbaijan's production was 75,000 barrels below the OPEC+ quota.
