Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a meeting with the former President of the European Council, Charles Michel, during the latter’s visit to Azerbaijan for the XII Global Baku Forum, Azerbaijan MFA said in a post on X platform, APA reports.
During the discussions, both parties addressed a range of issues concerning regional and international security. The sides also focused on the post-conflict regional dynamics, particularly highlighting the recent development on a peace agreement, as well as the challenges currently facing the process.
At the meeting, appreciation for Charles Michel’s significant efforts during his previous role as President of the European Council was expressed.
